Experience: Darren Day holds three decades of technical recruitment, workforce and project solutions experience, spanning global STEM markets including aerospace, energy, engineering, infrastructure and life science. His delivery experience is both geographically diverse and commercially significant, covering projects across the UK, US, Middle East and Australia with revenues ranging from £100k to £6.5m. Throughout his career at STR, he has progressed through multiple senior roles including Director of Sales and Chief Operating Officer, enhancing our Group companies’ abilities to deliver critical hires, projects and complex programmes to fulfil client commitments globally.
Leadership: As Chief Executive Officer, he leads multi-functional teams across sales, operations, PMO and shared services, scaling from small specialist groups to large international teams. His leadership is defined by building high-performing, empowered teams that provide impactful outcomes and enable clients to deliver on their promises. He has played a pivotal role in unifying leadership structures, evolving the company’s tech stack, and strengthening governance, while focusing on developing a resilient leadership team capable of driving sustained business growth.
