Experience: Heidi began her career with STR as a Recruitment Consultant, progressing to Lead Recruitment Consultant where she built and managed a high-performing desk within electronic engineering. She later transitioned into the Bids and Tenders team, bringing together her in-depth recruitment expertise, strong understanding of STR’s service offering and sales lifecycle, and prior experience in desktop publishing and copyediting. This combination has significantly strengthened the quality and effectiveness of our bid function. Heidi holds an APMP qualification and continues to develop her professional capabilities, taking on leadership of the team in 2017.
Leadership: As Bid Manager, Heidi has driven the implementation of numerous processes and best-practice frameworks, both within the team and across the wider business. This includes leading the rollout of a structured capture planning approach to improve bid success. She is highly focused on continuous improvement, embedding a ‘work smarter, not harder’ culture within the team. Heidi leads bid strategy and plays a central role in solution development, with a proven track record of successfully positioning the business in new markets and supporting the delivery of new service offerings.
