Experience: Tom Settle joined Navis Consulting’s Technical Shipping team in December 2013, bringing experience gained both in the UK and internationally. Prior to joining Navis, he spent time in New York, where he helped grow a Technical Shipping division within the US market. Tom has built extensive expertise in the Technical Shipping sector, working with ship owners, ship managers, ports, and marine consultancies across the UK and worldwide. He specialises in the recruitment of medium- to senior-level shore-based professionals on both contingent and retained assignments and has developed a strong global network of clients and candidates.
Leadership: Having progressed through a series of promotions during his time at Navis, Tom now holds the position of Associate Director, reflecting his significant contribution to the business and the Technical Shipping team. In this strategic leadership role, he helps drive the growth and direction of the division, leveraging his industry expertise, market knowledge, and long-standing client relationships. Tom is recognised for his ability to build and maintain trusted partnerships while leading workforce initiatives that support the evolving needs of organisations across the global maritime sector.
