This year, a number of our STR colleagues will be truly challenging themselves in taking on our latest fundraising event to raise money for our charity partner, Motiv8.
The Welsh 3000s involves climbing all mountains in Wales over 3,000 feet, within a 24-hour period and covers 3 mountain ranges in the Snowdon region –Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon Massif, the Glyderau and the Carneddau. It consists of 15 peaks and a climb of more than 2,500 metres!
The idea was put forward by our very own mountain man, James Gigg, who has conquered several of the mountains over the last few years. After careful consideration, Clive decided that this would be the perfect platform for our next fundraising activity for Motiv8.
The team, comprised of Clive Hutchings, James Gigg, Tom Fitzmaurice, Joe Page, James Rolfe and Emma Rees, has a comprehensive training schedule planned, to ensure they tackle the challenge as safely as possible. The rigorous regime will ensure this is a healthy physical and mental challenge for them to take on.
The team is aiming to raise £2,500 for Motiv8, so if you would like to donate, they’ll be incredibly grateful for any amount you can spare. Click the link below to find out more and support our colleagues in this incredibly challenging endeavour!

A big ‘thank you’ for your support and generosity. We’ll keep you updated as their training progresses!
